Public Speaking
Recently as part of my business course I was to prepare a presentation and present it to the rest of the group. This was my first presentation using powerpoint. There were three presenters, including myself.
The topic was not what was getting assessed, but it was the way you could put together a presentation and present it to the audience.
I felt my nerves as we kicked off, but preparation was the key to the presentation being a success. As I looked at my audience I was aware there was no one else in the room talking but me. As this went through my head, I was still talking and referring to my slides (but in my head I had a million other thoughts, well a bit of an exaggeration!) I am looking forward to many more presentations in the future.
This experience also made me think of the presenters in many different formats who present with Onlinevents. I appreciate the time and nerves that are involved in public speaking.

Social Networking
In this day of technology most businesses and practices have a presence online. It takes time and practice to learn and use social media. Once learned they open the possibility of connecting with an untold amount of people.
Although we may learn different aspects of social media, I think there is always one we take to more than others. I admit my favourite social media tool is Twitter.
